The successfully-Kickstarted Terra Invicta took out the top spot in Callum's picks for The Jumpys 2022!
Its story needs work, but Black Skylands' art and gameplay are subtle and entertaining enough to ensure that it's got a whole lot of promise.
Dreamscaper was Callum's favourite of the games he was able to review this year, and it's taken his Game of the Year shout for 2020!
Although it has solid gameplay and competent aesthetics and music, Century: Age of Ashes just doesn't have enough going for it at the moment.
Its marquee "asynchronous multiplayer" mechanic doesn't add much, but Aussie-made Phantom Abyss is an engaging roguelite platformer nonetheless.
Engaging gameplay and a thought-provoking narrative make Dreamscaper an early access title with lots of promise that's well worth the price.
